February 2010 Newsletter At our last club meeting on February 3rd, 2010, the executive announced that the club is implementing a fundraiser for the purpose of raising money for the next phase of construction at the track. Our goal is to raise $500,000 by June 2010. All funds will be held in trust in a separate account at the bank. Once we reach our goal, construction will begin to accommodate 1/8 mile drag racing events. If we fall short of achieving our goal, all funds will be returned to the donors. We welcome all donations from individuals and business’s alike. Please consider helping us reach our goal. Having a drag strip just 25 minutes west of Lethbridge has been a dream of many for quite a few years and we would like to make this happen this year! Checks for donations can be made out to The Southern Alberta Drag Racing Association and mailed to: Fran Joss Secretary/treasurer of SADRA 1215 – 33 Street North, Lethbridge, Alberta, T1H 5H2 A donation form will be filled out, and a signed copy will be mailed back to you.
